The Three Roots of Suffering

The three roots of suffering inflicted upon us this past year according to Buddha: 1. Hate – why couldn’t the owner of the neighboring building love the ruin she had bought as is? 2. Greed – why did the owner of the neighboring building think the ruin she had bought must become as pretty as the surrounding buildings? 3. Ignorance – why did the owner of the neighboring building think the road to happiness is to buy the ruin and drill every morning at 7 am until we lose all passion and feel the self is an illusion?
