The Intermediate Worlds

08/03/2013

עולמות הביניים

In the middle of the day I caught fifteen minutes of magic. I sat underneath a blossoming tree to read the new recipe-post of the Dvarim Be’alma food blog and while I was waiting for the page to upload I saw the leaves reflected on the iPhone screen. The fairylike vagueness of the reflection captured the spirit of the moment with such accuracy that automatically I pressed Print Screen. But the iPhone knows how to capture what’s outside and what’s inside, not what’s neither here nor there. Or maybe it knows perfectly well and consciously chooses not to lock up the delightful creatures which populate the intermediate worlds.
